Websturbation -- also known as "dictionary-wanking"; insisting upon giving an alternative meaning or interpretation to a word spoken by another in order to unjustly modify what the other meant, so that the other's statement no longer makes sense, or becomes a strawman arguement that can be easily refuted.

This is frequently done by naive and untutored religious zealots with the words "belief" and "believe", with the intention of turning an opponent's statement of opinion or choice into a "statement of religion".

Websturbation is a nasty, filthy habit and should NEVER be performed in company, polite or otherwise. It will grow hair on your gerands, weaken your adverbs, and get you ostracized in a New York minute.

Howdydoody [verb] Used in the writing of multi-author, role-playing, linear stories. Def.: To write another character into the story and provide words and actions for it, even though that character is understood to be the avatar of one of the other authors. One typically howdydoodies another author with permission, or at least generously, knowing in general what they would accept as their words and actions.

Also used in an indirect fashion to refer to the actual words you will put in another character's mouth, as in,

"TFS, lets meet at Big Dog's stateroom. He will howdydoody us permission to use one of the pressurized scout craft."

This implies that the 'speaker' (the one speaking to TFS) will be responsible for actually writing Big Dog into the story and having him give permission. This may or may not occur with Big Dog's prior approval.
