Remember when 'bait' was the critters you found around the lake?

Worms were preferred, but millipedes and 'roly-polys' would do in a pinch. You could also snag some minnows with a net and use them live, as bait. It's been years since I've fished...ever since that Catfish incident...

Ha! Don't tell me you're one of those Noodlers :turtle:

I'm just happy if I catch a fish these days... I remember when camping meant coming home with enough delicious tasting fish for the next week. I'm lucky if I get one these days... and that it doesn't taste like mud :cup:

Some claim.... that after 'one' is impailed, to do that, applies an enzyimeic suspension, that calms the attacking proteins, into thinking they are in friendly territory.

I've found that it does help a little...:cup:

Ya' ever fish for Rockbass? we call 'em Redeyes? around here. I usually always get stuck from their dorsils, and I've found that my proteins and theirs don't mix.....Hurt's like a SumB..:D

I remember before all these cracker-box housing subdivisions were constructed , there were Bike trails in the forrest that Us kids could ride down and around! ;)

There were actual green spaces... Trees to climb. forts to build, places to hide...

Now theres no empty spaces for youthful fun...

I attribute it to over-population/over-Immigration. :turtle:

Millions more people.

Progress
