We talked about this before; many simians have Aids type viruses all waiting to cross the species barrier.

I think some domestic animals also have Aids type viruses.

 

Not just std's If you are in New Guinea it is a good idea not to eat the brains of your enemies (Not just because "Eating People in Wrong" as Swan and Flanders say)

CHICAGO: In a breakthrough that could potentially lead to a cure for HIV infection, scientists have discovered a way to remove the virus from infected cells.

 

The scientists engineered an enzyme which attacks the DNA of the HIV virus and cuts it out of the infected cell, according to a study published today in the U.S. journal Science.
