Boerseun
So exactly WHAT is your stupid question? ...er..., I guess that would be:What I want to know, does yawning dogs trigger yawning amongst humans in their company?
jab2
...why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets?Firstly because it houses the earphones and they still needed comms for an effective attack, even if they are not coming back. I think it would also distract from the mission if suddenly you are flying with only half the kit you are used to. I think they even had parachutes, as most WWII fighters used the parachute as a cushion on a bare metal seat and you would thus not be able to see over the glare shield if you are sitting low in the "empty" seat. Galapagos
How much of the liquid in a given water park, pool, pond, or ocean is actually biotic wastes/secretions?
Turtle
How much of the liquid in a given water park, pool, pond, or ocean is actually biotic wastes/secretions? Ummmm....don't sweat it? :) Here's my naive, if not stupid, question from my early lifeguard days when someone spotted a turd in the deep end: "Who's going to get it out?" Pyrotex
How much of the liquid in a given water park, pool, pond, or ocean is actually biotic wastes/secretions? ...hmmm...If by that you mean, water that has passed through a biological creature, or at one time was incorporated within a biological creature--at some time, any time in the past--then I would say... 100% of it. :eek2:
REASON
hmmm...If by that you mean, water that has passed through a biological creature, or at one time was incorporated within a biological creature--at some time, any time in the past--then I would say... 100% of it. :hihi: Sure, but what's your question? :eek2:
freeztar
How much deeper would the ocean be without sponges? DougF
mynah
Good one :eek_big: - but actually it would be shallower: Depth of spongeless ocean = Depth of ocean - average height of sponge stratum + average height of water column within sponge stratum. freeztar
Actually, shouldn't it be: Depth of spongeless ocean = Depth of ocean - (average height of sponge stratum + average height of water column within sponge stratum) :eek_big:
mynah
Not so, as in the absence of sponges the water that would have been absorbed would still be there.:eek_big:
modest
If it's 4:00 AM in London, what time is it on Mars :eek_big:
mynah
Would depend where you are on Mars - but no later than 24:39:35.
freeztar
Not so, as in the absence of sponges the water that would have been absorbed would still be there.;) Well, I suppose, if you wrung them out. :D If the world didn't suck, would we all fall off?
