Best comp configration

Recommended Posts

Buy a normal PC but at the same time ask your vendor for the latest but yet affordable GEForce card or ATI Radeon card installed in it. If possible ask him to demostrate graphics in the shop itself.

I am sorry i dunno about other graphics cards... intel's inbuilt cards do not perform as well as GEForce / ATI

Raid 0 drive system for performance. The faster the drives the better.

I would also recommend a 3 monitor setup such as is possible with the digital version of Matrox's TripleHead2Go (Matrox Graphics - GXM - Products - TripleHead2Go Digital Edition). Combine that with 3 24" monitors (the smaller the bevels the better).

A pair of GeForce 8800 ultra video cards in SLI mode is nice.

Please note, this is all for maximizing gaming, not for holding down the price:)

eeh, i tend to build my systems, or get someone to build them for me, for a better price then at the store, like i gotta have an asus or a dragon board, good cooling, antec psu, nvidia card (though that may change)..... just some of my things....

if you are looking for performance

intel quad core

Dragon board with at least 2 16x PCI-E slots

4gb of the fastest ram your system can handle

ram drive for fast OS operations

2 15k ultra320 drives in raid 0

GeForce 9800

750W Antec PSU

Bullet proof vest (so i dont steal that system.... jk :hihi: )
