the one with the 2.2ghz wont even crawl with crysis

:eek2:

You are very mistaken, a quad core 2.2 will fly, what you have to understand is that it is equivalent to having 4, yes four 2.2GHz processors because its 4 separate 2.2GHz cores, and it's actually faster then a normal 4 processor machine because the bus between processors is 6 GBit vs front side used to connect multi proc machines (800mhz max, if you lucky). It will fly, drive your car, walk your dog and make you coffee in the morning all at the same time, and will be able to run crysis or any game out there to date at the highest setting!

I'd start with this board...Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Quad Royal (See Below) and cupple it with 4 nVidia Geforce 8500GT 512mg Cards(I use the 8500GT as the price on Newegg.com for one of these runs around, $60.00 and it utilizes SLI connectors so between the board and the 4 cards your only talking about approx $450-$500 USD. Mind you I'm usually an AMD guy but I just that big a fan of this board!!
