Three Air Tight Reasons Why No Object Can Ever Reach An Event Horizon

And yet it does happen as we have observed BH eating stars and tearing galaxies apart.

Of course, we cannot observe things that are crossing the event horizon as they will be accelerated to light speed.

At least, that is what the mathematics says.

Thank you for the sensible retort. I think you'll find that's not what the maths says though.

Objects approaching an event horizon from a distance are accelerated towards the speed of light but never actually reach that speed, that would happen at the horizon and would require infinite acceleration.

Instead they get time dilated and length contracted at an exponentially increasing rate as they approach the event horizon without ever reaching it in any finite amount of time.

So once the black hole's gone all the objects that fell towards it are still there having never reached the event horizon. From the perspective of the faller they see other watches speeding up and the black hole always dying before they can reach the horizon.

The time on their watch when they would reach the event horizon corresponds to an infinite amount of time passing on any distant watch, even a watch following behind 1 Plank length away.

And the winning entry giving the most rational three reasons is:

1/  Event horizons are fantasy

2/  But Objects are real

3/  Math is not able to model reality, and black holes are imaginary math constructs.  Pictures of "black Holes" are maybe pictures of SOMETHING, but they are not pictures of imaginary constructs of Math

Of course, if I am right, there is a preferred frame, but its not what you might think. If the universe rotated, this becomes a preferred frame of course answering why there is matter domination and is a special class of Lorentz violation in special relativity.

In fact they are looking closely for such violations right now. I suspect if rotation is much much slower today, detection of the preferred frame may become tricky. Just as Hawking admitted, the universe could be rotating but must be doing so slowly in the present time frame of our universe https://www.google.com/url?q=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorentz-violating_electrodynamics&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjf3euJmp7rAhUIYcAKHQROCd4QFjABegQICRAB&usg=AOvVaw1CEPy-seKY6EquQ9XD4UHC

I did mention, even before another poster that we do "see" things falling into a black hole. They gobble star systems all the time and us being observed even now. This whole idea where light cannot reach us giving information about what passes into a black hole horizon is only a tenebrous misunderstanding of where math and reality do not meet, much as was the singularity theorems.
