sunshaker
I was wondering who's idea it was to close all these threads? Some of the most interesting on here. Chemistry,Engineering and Applied Science,Physics and Mathematics,Astronomy and Cosmology,Alternative theoriesWhy the change, when they can just be tucked away in a little corner? Gregb
It was my idea. SF has a new focus and that is social and pop sciences. The physics and astro forums were full of bad information. Please look to our sister site http://www.physicsforums.com for those types of discussions. It will take some time to build back some momentum, but I'm working hard on that. sman
The physics and astro forums were full of bad information. Seems like there is some good information in there as well. Bad information has always been up to us to handle. I have some faith that those of us that have hung on will continue to do so. Meanwhile, there doesn't seem to be a place to post info or questions, good or bad, for the 'hard sciences', except biology, of course. Gregb
We've now added a pop sci forum which can be used to discuss recent mainstream topics across all sciences. Enjoy! sanctus
