I have picked out a few words that have become highly prejudiced through propaganda or other “culture” efforts. Here are the words. Work ethic: invented mainly for unattractive labor Servitude: finally an accurate word (not in use) Superfluous: note how this word too has disappeared from usage. Why? There isn't anything suerfluous nowadays? Academic: when presented with a problem will tell you at once who else was puzzled by it. Destruction: can destroy the prison of BS too and so create freedom) Introvert: extrovert says nothing about the unpleasantness of crowds, lack of privacy and overcrowding Conservative: is a label that carries as much meaning as "fashionable" does and it has no real contrary. It seems to be a description of a lack in the individuals so designated. Its entertainment value lies in the periodic attempts to convert this lack of human content into a simulation of a living entity, a philosophy which then becomes a performance akin to the Night of the Living Dead which I highly recommend in the black and white version. Hi.. Do you know when your cat may have been mated..?? Usually when a cat is mated.. the period between mating and the ability to recognise preganancy.. is about three weeks.. or 21 days.. this time frame.. represents the first trimester of pregnancy.. At three weeks.. a cat who has been mated.. will show signs of pinkness in a protruding nipple.. this varies between cats and breeds.. How well do you know your animal..?? Ashley

Lmao.. Yes!! I remember the pay phones.. red telephone boxes.. haha.. even dr who had one.. :hihi: The red telephone boxes were a NZ icon.. I remember as a kid.. we used to tap the phones receiver by subtracting the number from ten.. to get free calls :lol:

Lmao.. yeah.. I remember I used to get a letter from my grandmother on every birthday.. with money in it.. What about.. having to go to the library in order to complete an assignment.. now-a-days.. the world is wired with information.. and all it takes is the push of a key.. and a PC..

What about the telephones with the dial on them.. and having to call the operator to place a national call..

I remember when remote control units transmitted their signal.. by a cord.. as opposed to the infra-red of now-a-days.. ... and.. I remember the first computer mum had @ home.. it was capable of holding around 8kbs of programming.. and programs were loaded by cassette.. .. then of course.. those were the days.. of yester-year.. Is there a difference between.. Criminal Gangs and Terrorists..?? The reasons I am writing this thread.. and asking this question.. stem from gang violence recently reported in the national news (NZ).. The toddler was the innocent victim of a driveby shooting on Saturday thought to have been fuelled by rivalries between the Black Power and Mongrel Mob gangs.. for the rest of this story.. Armed police hunt for toddler's killer - Yahoo!Xtra News.. My next question relates to the care and protection of our children.. How is it.. society laws manage to let this happen.. ?? The shooting victim was a beautiful girl.. I did not know her personally.. I do however.. know of her parents.. and of the life they lead.. and with such disasterous consequences.. I wonder why our national social welfare agency had not intervened :phones: especilly when the powers that be.. intervene in ways that I would deem un-necessary.. whatever happened to teaching a society..?? For example.. in NZ an Anti-Smacking Law has just been passed by the government.. allowing police discretion to charge parents who smack.. hit.. or punish.. their children in violent ways.. and while this law has been deemed necessary.. This set of problems.. that make up the larger problem.. now shifts from the law makers in governement.. to the streets.. where the kids of todays future are being shot in gang violence.. or violent acts commonly known as terrorism.. This brings me back to my original question.. and the difference between criminal gangs.. and terrorists.. What is the difference.. ?? Why is it.. as police hunt for the killer of an innocent two year old girl.. they have not used anti terrorist powers in order to catch the killer.. for as I see.. there is not much difference between gangs and terrorists.. the only difference is in the scale of crime and prevention.. Intersting replies so far.. so good.. lol.. What I find interesting.. is that everyone so far.. has more or less.. defined value.. and while this is great.. the question asked.. "What is the Value of Everything..??".. In our search for a GUT or UFT which in short is.. The Theory of Everything.. I question what the Value of Everything will mean.. how it will be defined.. and the properties that give the Value.. clarity.. Does this help define my original question..?? Ashley

Thanks.. I agree.. I also suffer asthma.. and as this side of the world heads into winter.. the chances of an asthma attack for me.. greatly increase.. I recently had several bronchial asthma attacks.. mostly due to the environment I was in.. breathing in smokers air didnt help.. and the amount of dust in the air.. unbelievable.. also as we are currently in autumn.. there is alot of condensation in the air.. and I often wake in the morning choking.. for the past week I have had no voice.. coughing has been made harder.. due to a broken rib.. I didnt have an asthma attack until I was 19 years of age.. the first attack I had.. I ripped a stomach muscle.. Due to coughing.. I've also ripped a vocal chord in the high range.. I am now 30 something (I forget ) .. and over the years I have become aware of environmental factors concerning my health.. When I come home from work.. my body often goes through its own detox process.. so the first few days at home.. my body is tired.. I need a clean dust free environment.. I currently live in one.. and probably less dairy foods.. as these often trigger attacks.. especially cheese.. I do however enjoy a creamy cheese pasta meal.. :cup: maybe this is what triggered my last attack..I also often keep in check with my central nervous system.. ensuring less stress in my life.. and my immune systems ability to ward off the slightest infection.. especially chest infections.. causing bronchial asthma.. I often go through periods in my life.. when I have to supplement my body with vitamins.. this is often when I am busy and eating on the run.. I do prefer though.. gaining the essential vitamins and minerals through natural foods.. like fruit and veges.. I also use collodial silver and deer velvet.. as I find this helps.. There are many alternative ways in which to care for your son.. the best care.. however.. is self care.. best of luck to your son.. and also to you.. as a parent.. ;) Ashley
