And I want to have some paper about this. Such as Terminalia, Siam Fighting Fish paper. Anything that have an information about Terminalia catappa or Siam Fighting Fish. gribbon Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 In fish keeping the leaves are used to lower the ph and heavy metals of the water, and Betta Breeders in Thailand have done this for some time. I think, but I'm not sure, that it also causes the scales to harden. Also, try looking at this link....
