I have found the problem is with my browser 'google chrome'. So I have swapped to 'Mozilla Firefox' browser to make comments and posts on this forum. Yes, there is definitely a bug in the software, as I have seen the same problem. It seems that, even though you are logged in, the software sometimes will not let you post. I have found that if I click on my own avatar, and get taken to my profile, and then return to my post, the post is there, in edit mode, and I can then submit it OK.
