Human Rights Violations

Should people in the "housekeeping" profession be considered a human rights violation?

ABSOLUTELY YES. All "service" professions from waitress to dishwasher to maid to "do you want fries with that?" should be absolutlely banned. All wage professions should be banned as involuntary human servitude, as should all salaried professions. We can all live on Welfare and Medicare, pursuing our quality of life and celebrating our ethnic diversities... and occasionally shooting an uncooperative farmer to make the rest of them farm faster.

Yep, then we can start a movement called; The Freeloaders of America for Equal Access to Everything Society.

F.K.A. Utopia

(formerly known as)

a capitalist Utopia anyway. you'd still have to provide for yourself but so long as you had brains enough to design something of value (shark lungs for divers)(bioluminescent hair follicles and hair with fiber optic qualities to conduct that light making hair day glow/irridescent)(intracranial wifi tranciever) and and patent the bit of specialized genome you'd earn your fortune.

i figure people would have more time to discover themselves (and for some to actually get to know those people they share their lives with... family is it?) and pursue personal goals (building that kinetic launcher...)(opening a high orbit microgarvity sports arena/fitness and wellness center).

people would still work in marketing, sales, design and production jobs where human ingenuity would be in high demand as well as the sciences. managers of course will never be obsolete and law enforment official would exist in some capacity (managing the robocops, lol). heck more people could become teachers and children would be able to learn much more and be able to integrate into societies so much better.

good call uncle al, many more of us would be farmers, more or less, where the flesh is their soil and scalpel their shovel, for producing produce much like some people produce art, peeps would design animals plants 'people parts' and augmentations for a living. which would all require everyone to be somewhat technically inclined (meaning more teachers and better learning conditions and techniques) or willing to work a farm (or rich enough to affoard robot farm labour).

one might argue working a gene farm would be considerably menial... back to square one...
