Coalstoun Lakes

I came across some old photos from 1985/6 and, until i googled the following links, I did not realise that there was another lake there and these were once a dual crater volcano.

As you can see the lakes are not very deep and can dry out. The Google Earth link (below) is to a picture that shows the lake with water from the same location. 

 

Also, that tree in the foreground is a Boab. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adansonia_gregorii
