When on Tv is for example pool/beach people, parties, or similar, I feel like hurting in the heart region. Is this common or alarming ?(I stopped smoking 2y. ago, but eat 2 much). pamela Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 A23, you are not providing enough information in your post.Some questionsHow are you positioned on the couch? sitting upright? laying down?Are you overweight?Are you sure it's your heart, or could it be your muscles, ribcage or possibly your lungs?Are you consuming vast amounts of caffeine prior to TV watching?Do you have any medical conditions?When was the last time you had a physical?Any history of heart problems in your family? Try to make a preliminary assessment for yourself. Based upon those findings, schedule an appointment with you primary care physician and discuss.
