Powers of the mind, like spoon bending

Does anyone believe the idea that the mind has hidden powers that are able to break the laws of physics? like spoon bending. i don't believe it but if it is true, give me good proof of how the hell it bends!

I am not saying such phenominae is impossible. I just think said physical would be needing expansion in

that case. We are discovering all the time. As the Amazing Randy says discovering new ways that

charlatan figure ways to trick the public. Somewhere in the middle might be the truth. The mind/brain is

an amazing process/structure. We just beginning to uncover what is underneath.

Then quantum physics is in trouble...the concept of casualty is very different in the quantum world.

If humans could bend spoons, then they should also be able to bend spacetime. That sounds like a good way to do some time travelling.

Actually, from time to time, those who work with quantum theory have suggested that quantum theory does suggest such might be possible and even the suggestion that moving spacetime by the mind has been made. One person, who does manage to get labeled a crackpot, and yet, still works with our government on projects is Jack Sarfatti. He's suggested this many times over especially when it comes to UFO's and how they in theory could travel. In generally, however, spoon bending is rather a slight of hand magic trick. There have been some decent shows that have shown before how this trick is performed. For those who like this subject I might also add that even though quantum theory does somewhat suggest that ESP cases could have a valid scientific explination they also suggest that such would be a hit and miss type situation due to quantum probability unless the mind was so atune at a certain quantum level that it could forsee outcomes somehow. That requires something akin to the emitter-receiver idea where quantum waves come in two types:

 

1.) Those normal casual forward in time types.

2.) Backwards in time waves.

 

In this case, the person receives the overlap which normally cancels out, but somehow their mind is able to seperate the two and decern the actual outcome prior to the event or in certain cases modify the outcome. One thing that has to be remembered is all of this is just pure theory with little actual experimental evidence in its support. Real science depends upon experimental and observational evidence and untill such time as some group actually follows that path and provides support for such all of this remains speculation at best. But its also safe to say that such is not ruled out fully by quantum theory. That's why guys like Jack Sarfatti tend to get labeled crackpots even though a lot of what Jack proposes, especially given his Bohm based model of quantum theory, is not actually ruled out. All of us speculate and brainstorm from time to time. There's nothing wrong in that. Its called pushing the bounds of known science. However, making the outright claim that such is the case is not the way to do things.
