  1. Ok, basically and generally anyone of you and anybody else can just simply express & say what they want in this open forum in the context of freedom of speech as long as the contents are agreeable and acceptable to the forum moderators and administrators. Whilst as to what the different readers might think & consider about the contents of these posts, that's realistlcally, practically & definitely completely different stories & reasonably anyone would be able to judge that crap posts / useless story-tellings, nonsenses etc definitely won't serve any purposes at all.
  2. Alright, that's simply fair enough solely in the context of freedom of speech. All in all, since it's finally the curative and therapeutic outcomes that would solely & eventually matter to the fees-paying patients seeking treatments from any fees-seeking doctors including the psychiatrists, and about the fees-seeking doctors, in any cases treating their fees-paying patients, reasonably anyone, especially the / any fees-paying patients would agree with the below: "Well, for the professional psychiatrists seeking fees from their patients for their professional services, well, rather than getting their original medical conditions improved as expected, but just simply on the other way round, turning their medical conditions progressively from bad to worse, such as making them end up contracting any of the totally unexpected & fully unwanted dire neuromuscular, neurological & neurodegenerative disorders of Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) - Extrapyramidal system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrapyramidal_system / Extrapyramidal symptoms http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrapyramidal_symptoms etc. from the use of the related medications dispensed to them etc.,then naturally these fees-paying patients simply have all the undisputed rights to take whatsoever remedial actions anytime or immediately to seek damages & compensations from these fully licensed & certified medical professionals, and in the worst case scenario, just have their medical practicing licenses getting fully revoked on the fully valid grounds of gross negligence, miscellaneous breaches of professional conducts etc. by their respective professional medical bodies and associations which certify these licensed professionals in the first place." as excerpted from : http://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=2064819#i And it's simply all common senses at least for the fees-paying patients spending money seeking medical treatments to get better, treated, healed and cured eventually rather than making things worse for they themselves in the end.
  3. Well, regarding this excerpt which is quoted from: Alzheimer's Research UK it’s once again very much worthy to take note that, apart from the genetic and congenital factors as suggested above, and given the undisputed fact that Alzheimer’s disease invariably involves the phenomenon of brain damages, then the related post-birth causes of it should be reasonably, objectively & inclusively taken into consideration as well, whilst one of the many examples would be the neurodegenerative side effects of certain mind-altering drugs as follows: Additional Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Alzheimer%27s_disease_brain_comparison.jpg - Alzheimer's disease brain comparison.jpg From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Other Details: http://scienceforums.com/topic/17385-antipsychotics-neuroleptics-for-mental-disorders-comments/page__st__30 http://scienceforums.com/topic/14747-risperdal-induced-non-stop-persistent-eyelid-twitching-my-healing-experience/page__st__60#entry327945
  4. Well, generally & certainly, under usual circumstances, that could just be a normal metabolic & physiological phase / process of aging particularly when people get older and older. Next, under other rarely known scenario, maybe one can just refer to the excerpts below and ponder through the related points: “Extrapyramidal Symptoms A network of neurons responsible for the motion in a body with coordination is called as extrapyramidal system. The extrapyramidal system gets affected in a number of ways thereby causing extra pyramidal symptoms (EPS), a set of symptoms that relate to the attack in the extrapyramidal system. Causes of extrapyramidal symptoms: •Use of antipsychotic drug causes extrapyramidal symptoms in most people. Anti psychotic medicines such as haloperidol used in curing schizophrenia can trigger extrapyramidal symptoms. •Brain damages are one of the causes of extrapyramidal symptoms.” as quoted from : http://www.symptomwiki.com/extrapyramidal-symptoms Well, rather than we ourselves doing all these inconclusive unprofessional speculations, surely the related medical experts of the relevant fields will be able to give the exactly precise professional explanations to satisfactory clarify the doubts above.
  5. Well, reasonably and objectively, most people with certain amount of general medical knowledge would know that Alzheimer’s disease is actually a degenerative brain disorder that destroys neurons and neural networks / connections in the cerebral cortex, resulting in significant loss of brain mass. And as such, Alzheimer’s disease naturally should be medically diagnosable through brain scans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Alzheimer%27s_disease_brain_comparison.jpg
  6. How To Treat Schizophrenia, Antipsychotics / Neuroleptics Medications and Neuromuscular, Neurological & Neurodegenerative Side Effects of Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) Carried By Antipsychotics / Neuroleptics Medications - Striking a Fine Balance for Such Double-edge Swords Next, given the related topic “How to treat schizophrenia”, oh well, it’s very much worthy to take note about all the related rarely known dire & fatal neuromuscular, neurological & in the worst case scenario, the neurodegenerative disorders of Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) side effects of antipsychotics / neuroleptics medications meant to treat Schizophrenia, & actually one of the minor symptoms are the neurological / neuromuscular medication / Tardive Dyskinesia-caused seriously unmitigated incessant eyelid twitching / rapid eye blinking - http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1428915#i / http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1428920#i . Detailed Explanations about Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrapyramidal_symptoms http://schizophrenia.emedtv.com/extrapyramidal-symptoms/extrapyramidal-symptoms-p2.html http://www.symptomwiki.com/extrapyramidal-symptoms http://nursingplanet.com/psychopharmacology/extrapyramidal_symptoms.html http://alzheimers.about.com/od/psychiatricmedications/a/extrapyramidal.htm http://www.psychvisit.com/conditions/schizophrenia/2-symptoms-definition-schizophrenia/2-04-extrapyramidal-symptoms-EPSE.html#dystonia http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-the-different-extrapyramidal-symptoms.htm Others: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=2055352#i (Side Effects of Neurological & Neurodegenerative Disorders of Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS) Caused by Antipsychotics / Neuroleptics – Full Details) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1530443#i (Additional Information About Modern And Outdated Neurological-related Medications) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=2062086#i (Antipsychotics & Neuroleptics - Striking a Fine Balance for Such Double-edge Swords) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=2065487#i (Fees-seeking Psychiatrist & Their Fees-paying Patients – Everyone Has All the Undisputed Rights & Responsibilities On Any Grounds to Safeguard the Best Possible Interests of Their Personal Heath Cares & Well-beings) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=2065488#i (Duly Licensed & Certified Professional Psychiatrists & Their Compulsory Medical Professionalism of Modern-day 21St Century) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1631689#i (Various Possible Medical Causes of Unusual Eyelid Twitching / Eye Blinking - Brief Explanations) http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1233341#i (A New Version for the Self-administered Needle-free Free-Of-Charge Acupuncture Cure For Non-stop Persistent Rapid Eyelid-twitching / Eye-blinking) Lastly, whilst the down-to-earth reality is such that, it is simply the very much undisputed fact & totally unvarnished & veracious truth that the very health cares & medical well-beings issues of every single individual are unquestionably a totally inseparable and indispensable part of humanity and humanitarianism afterall. 7. Thanks for sharing. Oh well, reasonably and objectively, by merely going through these wordings, it would just give most people a very direct positive impression and rationally inductive reasoning that the related medical experts and practitioners, maybe upon identifying & realizing the related flaws of The DSM5, especially in view of the related published criticisms as shown in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-5 ,are subsequently trying their very best to impartially safeguard the utmost important matters of health cares & medical well-beings of the general public. All in all, generally the medical personnel, naturally should, by the calls of their medical consciences & vocations, to honestly, conscientiously & thoughtfully be objectively considerate about and genuinely & diligently take good care of & firmly ensure the best possible interests of the utmost important matters of health cares & medical well-beings of the general public. Above all, it would surely & certainly be the key issue of the public interests of health cares and medical well-beings that would eventually count and matter afterall.
  8. Yup, agreed. That’s reasonably fair enough given the facts that the points made are just, at first sight, seemingly come across to anyone to be so self-opinionated, personally & subjectively complicated, rather than generally & easily understood and acceptable especially in the context of general medical knowledge to most people, particularly the ones not belonging to the medical professions. Thus, even in the case whereby there are no credentials can be produced if these points are made by non-medical personnel, well then, at least duly certified, accredited & official medical journals, findings, relevant documents etc. should be provided to support & substantiate the credibility and validity of these obviously hardly understood & complicated points. Whilst on the other hand, given that it’s an open forum in which freedom of speech is freely given to anyone, any persons can thus just say whatever they wish to as long as it’s agreeable to the forum administrators. Nevertheless, the issue as to whether what anyone has written would be subsequently agreed by the ones reading them, oh well, that’s certainly and surely another totally different story given that different people naturally think about different things differently. So, that’s just objectively and openly let the ones reading them judge and decide the acceptability of these points made based on what & how they think respectively.
  9. Generally speaking, it's a medical scenario of loss of brain cells / tissues due to senility.
  10. It isn't the voices that are important. It's your health. Yup, I agree with that. And precisely in terms of one's mental health.
  11. Bullpoopies! I know of many that are most definitely insane (incl. myself) that are perfectly capable of lucid thought and reasonably rational interaction with others on occasion Ok, now let us just consider the formal definition of insanity : Serious mental illness or disorder impairing a person's capacity to function normally and safely: brainsickness, craziness, dementia, derangement, disturbance, insaneness, lunacy, madness and then, the combination / majority of the pathological symptoms stated below which lead to the medical scenario / diagnosis of insanity : Previous history of mental illness Previous history of alcohol or drug abuse Aggression Emotional lability Increased energy Elevated mood Suspicious mood Thoughts of conspiracy Hallucination Delusions So, just what is "voices in one's head" alone compared to the definition and combination of the list of the symptoms for insanity diagnosis above ? Thus, just to what extent that the "voices in one's head" are associated with the extremely severe mental disorder of insanity whose striking and decisive symptoms would definitely and primarily involve serious thought and behavioural as well as personality derangements ? Anyway, an unbiased medical diagnosis from the related specialists would be fairly conclusive on this issue.
  12. "voices in your head" is actually a form of false sensory perception projected by one's subconscious mind as a result of abnormal proprioceptive reactions to certain stimuli such as one's surroundings etc. Whilst as for insanity, it would mean a scenario in which one is substantially or totally unable to differentiate / distinguish realities from hallucinations. In short, the ones living in insanity would just live in their world of hallucinations and then take them "accordingly" as the world of realities of their own. And that's simply the reason why the insane people can hardly establish any proper purposeful and meaningful interpersonal communications with the other mentally-sane people. It is due to the fact that insane people are totally and erratically incoherent and delirious in terms of what they say, their behaviours, personalities, thoughts (or rather purely illusions / hallucintations) and lives. And hence, they would have much more serious, or rather severe problems of systemic false sensory perceptions other than the "voices in their head" alone. Next, in many cases, they quite often, maybe "seeing imagery things" too, and then just react sponstaneously to them without even any cognitive deterrents / inhibitions / hesitations. In a nutshell, "voices in your head" in most cases, maybe to a certain remote and rare extent, associated with insanity. Hence, as a matter of fact, having "voices in ones' head" doesn't necessarily mean that the particular people concerned are insane. As such, there are thus no direct and conclusive associations between these two extreme medical scenarios, in terms of their degrees / levels of severities. Lastly, as long as one could retain his / her awareness (of the reality scenarios / what really happens in reality) well enough, he / she would be able to let go and then slowly and gradually, expel totally all those false sensory perceptions through medication and non-medicational means of psychotherapies, interpersonal, communications, emotional, moral, interactive supports from their close ones of whom they feel comfortable with as well as self-control / self-determination / self-disclipines exercised on their own to let go and expel all those false sensory perceptions. 'Where there is a will, there is always a way'
  13. When you have mentioned voices (which is imaginary and not real) in your head, well, that's actually one of the symptoms of being delusional / hallucinational. Whilst in terms of insanity, that would involve far more than such a symptom of imaginary voices. As such, in the case of insanity, that would involve major and substantial negative and unpredictable changes in the behaviour and personality of the people troubled by such a problem, towards such totally dissociative mental states of complete paranoia, erraticism, irrationality, loss of memory and cognitive abilities. In such connection, hallucinations / delusions and imaginary voices, well, they are all actually result from the 'distorted sensory proprioceptions' generated by the brain through false signals / interpretations, or in the medical context, 'distorted nerve impulses' which arise from the 'distorted ways' that the persons having such problems perceiving their surroundings / environments. As such, the principle involved in this scenario is that, the mind chooses what it wants to see, how it wants to feel and what it wants to think. And in the case of hallucinations / delusions and imaginary voices, the mind actually chooses to form delusional / hallucinational and imaginary thoughts which are not real and do not exist at all, and that can either be voluntary or involuntary / uncontrollable depending on the mental conditions of different individuals. Hence, voices in the head, though they are to a certain extent inter-related to insanity, they may not necessary be one of the symptoms of insanity. And most importantly, it is definitely not a decisive factor of insanity itself. Besides, in terms of the principle ' the mind chooses what it wants to see, how it wants to feel and what it wants to think' as mentioned above, it actually mean that human beings, to the varying extents, are actually able to exercise self-controls through their self-wills, to determine the thoughts they wish to form in their minds. This is to say, for the ones troubled with mental illnesses, they, to the varying extents, can actually control their own thoughts if they so wish to, especially to think positively, rationally, optimistically, pracitcally and sensibly, to gradually improve their mental conditions for the better and better.
