  1. I admire the dedication and work put into this thesis.:naughty: My compliments and thanks to João Carlos Holland de Barcellos for providing us with his sincere thought and opinion. I will be studying, when I can, his work for quite some time. I will do my best to set aside my intuition, so that I can better line up with his observations, in the hope of understanding them more thoroughly.
  2. It is just my opinion that, when Humanity Evolves far enough, (or some part of Humanity Evolves far enough), Individually, in Co-operation and Unity with others of good heart and mind, We will experience, finally, the Great Flowering of Democracy. Through Individual, but Socially Conscious Men and Women, who participate in Their Society, as though it was their own Family, the Enlightened Golden Age of Democracy will be manifest. Everyone will have a say and cast their vote for what they perceive as goodness and justice for all. The "Leaders" will be Advisors and the Legislators will implement the "Will Of The People". May the United States of America earn the right of being first in this Human achievement. Respectfully Submitted, DAN 1 of the Third Parties Coalition and the First TriNar of Narbarism.
  3. Yes. I believe in Evolution as the Divine Process presented in the Urantia Book. Darwin only touched upon the finite surface of this element of Eternal Life. It has already happend, that scientists of other worlds have come before God and were rewarded for their dedicated journey. Science is an essential part of Creation. I believe because it appeals to and makes sense to my particular personality and character. Respectfully Submitted, DAN 1
  4. Hi Tormod. I suppose I was thinking that the formulation of a plausible theory is the "first validation". I tend to think that if something becomes thought, in even one mind, then it merits more validation through supportive evidence or a philosophical explanantion that is hard to refute. When I saw this theory I thought of the following scientifically observed phenomena: (1) Our astronomers can "see" black holes in far outer space. (2) These black Holes do seem to be sucking up stars and other celestial bodies. (3) It is reasonable to assume that either the energies and matter that is being sucked in are going somewhere, or they are ceasing to exist. I prefer the first possibility. The second is repugnant to me. I believe in change but not cessation of existance, at least as regards the energies and materials of Universe Creation. There is an exception to this belief, but it is not really applicable to this discussion. The "validity" I wrote of is a "softer" use of the term, (related to plausibility), and has more to do with speculation rather than hard scientific proof or evidence. Forgive me if I have used a word too incorrectly. I will be more careful about this in the future. Respectfully, DAN 1
  5. Lee Smolin's model and theories, (as you have indicated them), are fascinating. I have often wondered what purpose the "Black Holes" served other than the destruction of a universe. They seemed so out of step with the formation of the Universes of Creation. Them being a kind of energal transfer mechanism to other regions of non-pervaded space, does give me a better picture of this idea, in addition to my old notion that the great darkness of Creation, in which the stars are born and reside, is the great Potentiality and role of Spirit as the Female Aspect of Creation. I believe the blackness against which the stars do shine is the "Womb of Creation"...therefore Mother. Then along comes Smolin with his notions about the black holes sending (excess?) energies and life force into un-pervaded space. This presents a brand new perspective and role to my Mother Spirit beliefs. Please, I dont mean to be crude here, but it is as though the womb turns inside out and reverses to become the "Universal Phallic Organ" that injects the elements for the new celestial realms. Strange and different indeed. I will be thinking about this for a long time and will seek further validation in this from Science in the future. Its quite Morphic isn't it? But it does make sense as regards all the energies generated by the stars...maybe? The thought that viruses and bacteria, (as we know them), being made in the cooling nebulae of the universes seems to be not true to me. Too much heat and energy chaos involved...I think. But this is just my own opinion. I realize that there is so much I dont know yet. I would welcome further evidence to support this idea. Just hope I am intelligent enough to understand it when it comes. Right now, I embrace the notion that bacteria and viruses are produced at the "Planetary Level". In the sun warmed shallows of seas and near the volcanoes. I am definately open to further information about this idea. Respectfully, DAN 1
  6. Boerseun wrote: "Life didn't appear 'randomly', as stated in your post; rather, Life appeared because the conditions were right, and the conditions were right because the Laws of Nature (in this universe's incarnation, at least) allowed it." I would only like to suggest that these "Laws of Nature" were intentionally designed by Mind and Spirit. They are energeral mechanism for the Evolution of More and Better. Respectfully, DAN 1
  7. In the last three months I have read: (1) "The Navigator" by Norris West (2) "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn (3) "The Way We Lived" by Malcolm Margolin I am about to start "The Darkness and the Dawn" by Thomas B. Costain Respectfully, DAN 1
  8. Hi Jet 2. Your "handle" sure does sound familiar. Forgive my old brain, but have we communicated before?:) I travel far in cyber space and have the feeling that we have messaged each other before. It is very nice to meet you too.:) I hope you are having a good day. I'm off in a bit to see if I can get my little pickup repaired. Hope to see more of you. (I will seek your posts too.) Respectfully, DAN 1
  9. Greetings Peter. Thank you for your welcome. It is good to see your kindness to this stranger.:) Er...uh...thread? It will be hard for me to start a thread in such learned scientific company.:) But, I will do much reading here. So many wonderful subjects and information. Eventually, I will see an opportunity to contribute something, but right now this student is agog:eek_big: with the data. Such power of research and thought dwells here. It is good. It is helpful. My quest needs what is here. There is more to learn than there is time to learn it. Respectfully, DAN 1
  10. Hi Tormod.:) Yes it is beautiful here. It is mixed conifer and deciduous forest, (Oak and Pine mostly), with Toyon and Poison Oak in the undergrowth. The stony tips of mountain peaks thrusts out from the grassy ground, giving the place almost a "Druidic" feel. Deer walk through and browse on the flowers I planted and Coyotes and Bobcats stalk our four lady Chickens. (They got our Rooster.) Previous tenants had trashed the place, but I am about to finish getting that corrected now. It is rewarding to see the land re-emerge from neglect and be itself. Far to the West, at night, we can see the large communities in the Great San Jouquin Valley. Those towns are a bright and brave sight so far away. (About one hour at 55 MPH) East of here it keeps climbin and climbin, becoming the good wilderness that means so much to me. Some of the last of the High and Low Freedom Lands. Hunted and lived in for thousands of years by Our MiWuk Brothers and Sisters. Yep. Beautiful. How did you know? Thank you for the welcome. Respectfully, DAN 1
  11. Thanks for the kind words Freezy.:thumbs_up I can see from the information near your message identity, that you have a lot of presence here. I am honored that you have taken the time to welcome me. I will look for your posts and learn more of your mindset and feelings...so that I can relate to you better. See you soon. DAN 1
  12. Hello to all members of this interesting forum.:) What initially attracted me to it was the threads about the Urantia Book. But, I can see that many other subjects are discussed as well. I could learn much here. I am a "white" male, 62 years old and temporarily live in Sonora, California, at the base of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. Besides the Urantia Book, I am interested in the New Tribalism Movement and political issues in this election year. I am also interested in doing what i can to help Humanity Evolve its great potential. I start with myself, hence the efforts to learn in informed places like this. For years I have been writing a pre-historical adventure novel, based on information found in the Urantia Book, and Jean Auel in her series about Ayla. I enjoy the more sedate outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. I think it would be interesting to start a wilderness living tribe. Actually, this has been one of my major dreams since 1963. I hope to be able to travel a lot in 2008. Mostly in America for specific reasons; visiting new friends, increasing the bonding of new compatible contacts and such. Would like to see Wales and other parts of the British Isles to get an increased sense of my personal heritage. Sure would like to return to Mongolia and other parts of the Asiatic Steppes too. Oh yes, I almost forgot, I am a baby Horse Archer. Hope to continue what I've learned about this wonderful sport and become better in it. :) A Horse would help:hihi: Well, I guess that is enough for an introduction here. If you have any comments or questions, please dont hesitate to post them. I will try to get in here as much as I can and participate. I'm pretty goood at staying courteous. Good will and friendship to all of you. DAN 1 of the First TriNar of Narbarism
