  1. God is the great programmer, science is is program. Science disclaiming God is a notion that should never be pondered. Any person who says we were not once close to the ape because we were created in God's Image doesn't take into consideration that we increase advancement each Generation and it is a fact God expected us to figure out. Those who say Earth, habitation and such were created in seven days so science is wrong simply don't appreciate God's means of communicating in a fashion we can understand. He's so huge and time is an idea created by humans. Many of us can't contemplate occurences without including time as a factor. I am a huge science nut, because of all inquiries I've attempted to answer results in the realization that we are restricted from understanding, and unable to explain due to limits in our means of communication. All cultures seek to connect with The Great Wonder, and Maybe...just Maybe God (as my culture named him...as best as we could) communicates with us in an Epic sort of way that each culture will appreciate as closely to "God's" means of communicating. I studied religion in college...All over earth people are, by nature, seeking God. I seek him through my craving to understand basics of Biology and Chemistry and seek God further by exploring even further... I don't exactly follow a specific religion...but I don't shun them at all....I believe that God's energy is present when people come together for worship. I believe, because of three specific experiences, he will answer prayer in serious conditions...if it's meant to be. I love to see people who seek God..no matter how they do it. Another thing, those who believe God will send you to burn in fire if you don't do such and such...God that I understand doesn't like folks to say he is so very egocentric. According to definition, an Atheist is one who doesn't believe religion is true.....This Webster definition classifies me as an Atheist...but I believe God exists everytime I think of the Big Bang and what existed prior to that episode and what exists beyond our universe. That's when I feel God, it's not faith ...it's a known fact. My belief in God is greater than most classified as religious. If you get chilled when u ponder questions beyond our level of understanding...then u feel him too.
  2. Yes...evolution...such a marvelous entity!! We have come so far so quickly...anything is possible! a century ago people would have laughed at the things we've explored!!
  3. right, the question is so beyond our restricted understanding and communication that that is when i think of God (which is all language can allow us to title the entity)..or feel god...shudder
  4. Who or what do you think of as God? It is such a huge idea that I think written scripture may fall short of God... I think of God..if that's what you want to call it...when I think of such great questions that even the greatest scientists or most evolved alien lifeform can't answer. I get goosebumps just thinking of it.
  5. The bb occurred as a small h atom 1 electron a very small burst of energy that evolved forming different arrangements of charges so unique they attract other formations which beat another via a faster route etc. Not a large explosion occurin suddenly. It began quite simply according to documentation i have read...but form a variety of matter very unique bonds increasing the uniqueness. The web site we are interacting on is so unique from all others, all other tech for that matter but are created just as simply as the universe... 0'a and 1's...on and off...electrical charge or none...increasing uniqueness but derivied quite simply. Our bodies our so very unique and we are such because of simple code...formed and arranged so very different allowing over time complexity. Everything that perplexes me was brought about so very simply..energy arrangements...everything...as unique as it may be began so simply. I used to ask my dad all sorts of questions like the things discussed on this forum...he always told me, "Don't think about things like that, you'll go crazy!!" I am totally perplexed about the statement...maybe the universe isn't as big as we think it is! but it doesn't drive me crazy, it actually inspires me!! It's so big,, so complex, and we are a part of it! I LOVE IT and I feel comfort in it! :)
  6. In my personal opinion, it is very self rightoues to think that of all the solar systems in our universe that our planet is the only one with life...bye life i mean any organism whether it be single celled, colony multicellular..whatever, it just seems so crazy to believe it is just us! :)

    God

God is not a code..He is the programmer and science is the program...or code. Appreciation of Science does not contradict God as many feel it does.(although it does contradict religion which is derived by man)..I am simply using an analogy to express how they can exist in harmony. It is bothersome to see so much debate and closemindedness when there needn't be a debate at all. :) Just as I love science and find such intrege in great questions and theory proposed by great thinkers, researchers, and prize winners...the awe and wonderment felt is similiar to each person's ideology. Or as I learned in the biology program...it's all connected!!

    God

Most religious beliefs contradict science...religion that is... I grew up learning a certain religion but all I learned in grade school, college, and other studies opposed religious beliefs...but did not effect my awe for God...it actually supports my awareness. I asked the questions as a child and the answer still leaves me in wonder...what exists beyond all physical matter? What existed prior to the cause of matter? What brought that nothingness about...The answer is much too profound for the Homo Sapien to even consider. The answer is God...or whatever you may call him...the great majestic entity that all people all over seek to understand and communicate to the best of their constricted ability is what some of us call God. Science conflicts with many religions but in terms of how I view God Science is the brilliant code that is made up of basic intricate variations of energy that primarily bond into desired formations creating fundamental elements, molecules, particles, arranged ingeniously to reproduce according to the environment, and evolve to better fit its surroundings. We seek to understand this profound concept or entity forming religion and science...unfortunately religious understanding may start off from basic yearning to connect with God but is shaped and hindered negatively by materialistic desires, politics for example.
