Multiple dimensions beyond 3?
DigitaLMasteR_Alex replied to cnfsdnlostinside's topic in Physics and Mathematics
I think that dimensions are about 10, what I don't know is how are they so? and according to what the theory is based on, there could be a lot more than 10 dimensions out there. what did you mean by that? maybe I didn't understand what you're getting at, but, a curve is a one dimensional manifold. -
evolution doesn't happen by chance, it happens due to changes in the life style or in changes in the demands of the living beings, and when these affects continue for a long time, changes in these livings start to take place and this is what we call evolution

you are 14 now, you are still growing, you will continue to grow until you're about 18, so you will get taller, you have 4 years to get taller and I think that you will gain between 1.5 and 2.5 inches.

actually, even hypothetical theories are based on facts, they mayor may not be proven as facts, but they have some rules to be called theories and these rules include being based on facts. I think your statement above is accurate in the "opinion" part, you know it's not wrong to state what you think, but you must name your statement as what it really is space is deferent from the universe, so you can't mention them as one thing, and "big to Comprehend" is way much different than "infinite", this is because big is a relativity statement, this means that some thing could be "big to Comprehend" compared to something, but can be relatively small compared to another thing. yes, based on observation of atoms, solar system and galaxies, we can say that every system is included in another system. would that mean that the number of systems in infinite while every system on its own is finite?

sorry for the double post

I think that by 2029, there should be something discovered/invented to stop the asteroid from even reaching the earth.
-
I have always wondered about this case, I just can't get the answer for "will it stop? or will it settle in a specific rate of rotation " Though, I recommend you go see this site for accurate information on the subject The Slowing Spin of Earth

yeah, you're right, it cannot be proven "at least for now" but there must be something beyond it since it has an end, because if nothing is beyond it then the universe should be infinite, and it's not, so there must be something beyond it, and one day science will prove or disprove that. we can say that the many universes are among a total system of infinite space, but we can't be sure -due to some limitations- that this space system is really infinite and isn't included in another system. yeah, I know, it's really complex, it all seems difficult to be answered, since we are bounded by enormous distances within our own universe.
-
actually our universe has an end, it has the shape of an oval, it's shape as an oval means that there are other universes beyond it, the problem here is " what is the system that includes all these universes, does is have an end or its just infinite "...
-
yes, there are a lot of overlaps, but I just feel like "how" can totally take the place of "why" but can not be in the place of, say" what", for example, and by "what" I don't mean the question "what causes something to” or "what is the reason for ?" I just meant "what" in it's simplest for as a question for a definition.
-
I will first go back to the "How possible is it that the universe is infinitely big", basically it is incredibly wide and it's getting wider and wider, but I don't think that it's infinite, The universe takes the shape of an oval, that means that there should be some other universes beyond our universes. About the infinite issue, when we say infinite we are talking about an undefined value and it ca be categorized in tow categories, countable and uncountable, and you can not run logical operations on infinity the same way you do with finite numbers, I mean the summation of infinites is also another infinity, infinite values may also converge to some value due to the equation that represent it, infinity concept is annoying because humans are used to deal with countable limited things, but still infinity had solved too many mathematical problems that would never have been solved.
-
I totally agree, "what" should be included I think that scientists use a collection of questions that are totally dependent on each other, as every question answer leads to another question to be answered It usually starts by " what is "something"?" or " what to do on "something"?!" the next question is then "why is it "something"?" or " why to do "something"?" then the last question is "how to do "something"?" This is somehow the general form of questions "in my point of view", because it's conventional for a scientist to wonder about a particular subject and to figure out if it's worth working on it, if it does, the scientist will try to find out how to work on this thing

well well well !, I think you misunderstod what I said, the "its" in the paragraph refers to JAVA, not to assembly, assembly was mentioned in the next paragraph, as an example of the importance of every language on its own. besides, who said that you can learn assembly if you learn binary, this is the most strange thing I've ever heared, assembly is a powerful language maybe but only in some fields, never mind, I really meant JAVA in the first paragraph.

doesn't natural selection deal with events that cause changes on the genes, so that the new habit can be inherited, Is the need of foot such a thing?!, is it for the case of the athlete?, you know ... this could mean that a mans ancestors educational habits can be inherited, why for example would a son of a genius doctor hold a lot of hatred for science ?! by the way, scavengers are not friendly for defensive purposes, you know, they do so, because they want to gain more respect, maybe not I don't really know :friday: at least I'm trying to learn more on this subject...

Make a poll, will you do this if it exists?
DigitaLMasteR_Alex replied to Ps2Huang's topic in Biology
I will do it, and many people would, you will be surprised that no one will be poor enough not to pay just to get more few years of life, people will do anything to earn more years besides, needs imply creativity, too many people means a need of wider places, a need of more science and technology, this need will get benefits for humans evolution more than anything else! -
even though! things that can be accomplished by some work can never be inherited, take for example a son of an athlete father who his father is a good athlete will not become a good athlete unless he trains hard, even if all of his ancestors were good athletes.
-
but science lab will not make alot of money, maybe offering them for hiring is good, at least this can allow switching between users :friday:

Ok… First I know that the question didn’t mention network-based applications, but I was making a general statement about JAVA in here, considering that no one took it in consideration even as a good programming language. Second I know Python and I didn’t say it’s not good, I just said that I prefer JAVA and this is fair. This means that it's optimal for users who really are not into security issues, as JAVA make some constraints on the code preventing it from getting deep in the system, this may be viewed as inflexibility, but still, some programmers don’t need this kind of flexibility. sure! It’s not difficult to learn at all, and once its learnt it becomes a lot easier for beginners to learn other programming languages, besides I don’t see it cryptic. Again… Python is a good choice but it’s not the only choice. I don’t believe in “ best programming language” concept, this is why I said I preferred JAVA, but I didn’t say that it was perfect or any near to be so, Python is not perfect either, every language serves in a particular field better than the other, even c, c++, and it just happens that I like assembly too, it’s just the purpose of the application that implies the choice of the programming language to use. Still JAVA is one of the good programming languages out there  Thanks for welcoming me

yeah!...hopefully it will last, or ... you know ebay is better than scientific experiments :friday:

well !, I don't know... but your daughter is really so young, give her more time and she will learn all what u want her to learn, it's a matter of time and about the restaurant issue, maybe it's better for now to take here to a restaurant where people know you, so you can avoid embarrassment
-
ok! your children are getting you irritated?!, u know, they are just children and they need to play and you just can't expect them to stay calm all the time, you just have to do ur best not to get angry or irritated, I think that it's easier for you to learn how to control yourself not to get irritated, yeah! it's way easier than teaching your 5 year old daughter not to get u irritated. by the way... it's fine to have a noisy child, calm children do not keep the house alive. my little brother is noisy and I really get mad at him as I have to study for my exams, but yet I can't think of him other than that !

I used to write in some other science forum and I just found that it became so boring, I just went on yahoo and wrote "science forums" and found this forum, I just wonder why I didn't find it be4, it's really an awesome forum
-
It really doesn't matter, I just like cola to be cold and nothing else matters!
-
you're right I just wanted to say this in other words, I guess "free" wasn't the best choice. maybe ”delirium” is better to say it is normal for children to get irritated very easily, children don't think before they react, and later on when they grow up they stop this as they learn to think and then respond

I don't think that this happens to you because in the past, humans had to fight for their food, this thing can never be inherited, it's simply your personality when your brain doesn't have total control of it, and it differ from person to another. you know, when people get hungry, sad or angry their conscious brains loose partial control of there behavior and they start to act "partially" free, as they just don't focus a lot on any particular thing.
