Virus warning, blank screens, etc

I bring my computer back regularly to factory state, something like every six months.

I've never had to do that, but I am wondering why belovelife still has a problem? Anyway the Norton 360 security suit I'm using easily blocked every intrusion attempt and notified me with good information. So I'm not complaining.

and i got a norton screen once

after i did a system recovery

see, i did a system recovery after the initial virus or bot from going onto hypography,

after i tried the site again and i got the bot again

did another system recovery

now the program is there, it won't leave

then the next day norton popped up on the screen

so glad i don't use Windoze!

Granted it's big balls every time they update Ubu. thanx to the age and make of my rig as well as their nack for discontinuing support for the modules I use! (always fixable but a PITA) But to date not one infection of any sort...of course the lack of viruses is prolly only because open source based O/S's aren't all that popular (vs say Mac or doze) and generally being offered for free the effect of an attack would be severely diminished by the facts that it's generally fairly easy to fix, costs nothing to fix, and thanks to the user needing to know the inner workings of their system, intrusions are easily caught and remedied. On the downside a user that does not know what they're doing can really frig things up big time!!

If you know the files you want to remove, download some tools from the following link.
