LJP07 Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Bald Eagle. The bald eagle also known as Haliaeetus Leucocephalus, there found over most of Canada, North America and Alaska. Half of the worlds 70,000 live in Alaska. They fluorish in North America due to the high amount of Salmon. Eagles are a member of the Accipitridae Family which also includes hawks and kites.
