Tigers breed very well in captivity, you could consider opening a tiger farm, thereby meeting the demand for medicinal products and cutting out the poachers. I'd advise you to have your farm in a country where tigers aren't a protected species, otherwise you may have problems at harvest time, cases concerning crocodiles have occured in India.

I want a pet tiger - is it possible to tame them, keep them like a cat?

I think its important to read the negatives more than the positives when considering having an exotic. I would love to own many of these types of animals but will not due to the responsiblity I would have for their care.

I understand your point here but it leaves out the cost factor. It will be cheaper and more profitable to poach the cats than to raise them for the product. The goal should be to zero out the call for these products. Rename viagra pills to Tiger Power and sell them in these markets. At least viagra works....
