Can light curve at different intensities

Quite a large mass to have an measurable effect. You could lok up the measurements of star positions during eclipses, the sun's mass deflects the light slighty when it passes near but you need the sun to be in a direction close to that of the star, so you can only see the star when the sun's behind the moon.
