A lot of people think that last bit (with the slow, ion drive powered clime to LEO) is impossible. And I think the Dark Sky Station is a GREAT idea - that stands to make these guys a bunch of money, I'd easily pay to go to the edge of space like the DSS would be, plus I wouldn't have to deal with zero-gee toilets.
