I think that the US should listen to this offer and cease its "hostile stance" toward Russia as ultimately it will cause "greater problems" in the grand scheme of things as the treaties between Russia and the United States disappear only more tense will the situation become and I think this offer to keep the New START treaty is a good one to prevent escalation.
