Vmedvil5 Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 It seems that more often than not mental illness is treated like a crime and that people with mental illness are treated with zero human rights at all being held hostage by those around them unable to do anything about it because they have been considered mentally ill. This is a article about how mental illness is not a crime, Link = https://namica.org/blog/mental-illness-is-not-a-crime/ Quote
inverse Posted June 11, 2022 Report Posted June 11, 2022 I wonder these: 1) is mental illness curable really , in fact, I ask what that was or whether it really existed! 2) who invented the description or itself? Quote
ExistentialDreams Posted July 23, 2022 Report Posted July 23, 2022 In the UK , most mental health issues are not a crime , but if you do something like taking someone life you still have personal responsivity for that maybe part of the person's mental health can be taken into concretion, but you still will have jail time or be put in a secure mental health Hospital that you have to stay for the rest of your life . But more and more the police are called into dealing with mental health due to the state of the NHS at the moment , it's falling apart and the most vulnerable mentally and physically are at risk Quote
