Very exciting news.

Perhaps a real theory of Abiogenesis can now be developed.

I have long been very interested in the role microtubules play in the origin of life. They are a common denominator of all Eukaryotic life which suggests they are very old and probably instrumental in abiogenesis as they are responsible for self-duplication of DNA during mitosis, among the incredible other functions they perform in the process of homeostasis.

Question:  Do laboratories use microtubules in their experiments?  I ask this due to the dynamic properties of microtubules, which would seem to be a necessary function in the evolutionary processes that led to life?
