Negative Sensory Inputs : Impact And Avoidance

Consider a negative sensory input on all the 5 senses. How can we neutralize the negativity.

 

* visual - change the focus to some more pleasant environ

* auditory - use ear-plugs

* tactile - usually a reflex takes care of this, like touching a prickly object, or a hot vessel.

* gustatory - use an inexpensive solution, like a toffee, or a mint to freshen up the mouth.

AND 

* olfactory - this is the most difficult to avoid. Unpleasant smells are nauseating, but you can't stop breathing, and, carrying an oxygen mask everywhere might make you look like a clown. :-(
