Kimmyrenteri103
For the past I would say 4 weeks there has been this star in the sky that is so bright, whether it's day or night... Its so noticable. It doesn't move and I've never seen it blinking. But tonight my friend & I were walking at about 6 and we seen it and just watched it for a couple minutes, it's the same star we see in the sky every single day... Out of no where it got real bright, faded, got bright again and it just vanished. Out of no where. What could this have been? We were so shocked. fahrquad
Sounds like a UFO sighting, as in a flying object that you could not identify, not little green men from Mars.
fahrquad
Most likely you were seeing Venus and Jupiter. Jupiter in the morning and Venus at dusk. The brightening, darkening, and sudden disappearance were probably due to high altitude clouds. http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/visible-planets-tonight-mars-jupiter-venus-saturn-mercury
