bryandaledc
Since universe is infinite we cannot determine how big it is, is there a possibility that there is another sun or another solar system in other parts of the universe?
pzkpfw
Take a look outside one night; most of what you see (stars) with your naked eye are other Suns, in our Galaxy. As detection gets better, scientists are finding more and more stars that do have their own planets - i.e. they are also "solar systems". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_Systemhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exoplanethttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galaxyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galaxy_cluster sanctus
bryandaledc
Meaning to say the things that we see in our naked eye are sun and/or solar system, so possible that there is another planet? Because as you've said there is a detection of solar system, is it possible
pzkpfw
Lots of planets have been detected. Did you click on any of the links I provided? Did you read my post? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exoplanet An exoplanet or extrasolar planet is a planet that orbits a star other than the Sun. Over 3000 exoplanets have been discovered since 1988 (more specifically, 3406 planets in 2550 planetary systems, including 577 multiple planetary systems, have been confirmed, as of 12 May 2016).
