CraigD- It seems to me that the only “cure that is not worse than the disease” for religiously motivated harm is to instill in both religionists and non-religionists a deep belief in liberalism. To "instill" a belief in anything involves some sort of "encouraging" (upbringing, educating, etc.) on the part of the person doing the "instilling" to get the other party to see it as the first party see's it :D. I fully understood what you were saying.
