CraigD Posted March 1, 2009 Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 It’s source, dprogram.net, is a loony conspiracy website, one of may that promotes the claim that the 9/11/2001 collapse of the 2 World Trade Center towers and other buildings was not the result of fire from the two 767 airliners that struck them, but demolition charges and US military missiles, done as a “false flag” to win public favor for subsequent actions by the US government and businesses. As claims of these sorts have been discredited to the satisfaction of all but the looniest conspiracy advocates, I don’t credit any information coming from dprogram.net. Michealangelica, I believe you’ve discovered yet another small patch of the large, ugly underbelly of America, its small but passionately intense community of, IMHO mentally ill people believe practically anything that supports their delusional view that they are the disenfranchised victims of vast conspiracies by the worlds rich and powerful. Despite being offensive to most and hazardous to the mental health of a few, we Americans must allow it to be made, because our laws recognize the importance of not forbidding speech of any kind that is not a clear attempt to harm others (ie: “shouting ‘fire’ in a crowded theatre”). I recommend everyone not give the claims of this and sites like it serious consideration, studying them only to gain an understanding of the psychological and sociological dysfunction underlying them. Increasingly easier communication makes it increasingly more easy for people to traffic in all ideas, crackpot or otherwise. Basic education should provide an inoculation against such idiocy, but unfortunately, as a country we are more obsessed with standardized tests than logical thinking.
