How about this one?

:hihi:

Angel of darkness is upon you.

Stuck a needle in your arm (you, fool, you)

So take another toke, have a blow for your nose,

one more drink, fool, would drown you. (hell, yeah)

;)

That Smell - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Here's a good one:

:singer:

I never realized the passing hours of evening showers

A slip noose hanging in my darkest dreams

I'm strangled by your haunted social scene

Just a pawn out-played by a dominating queen

:singer:

Goodbye Stranger - by Supertramp

Try this:

:read:

A new road's waitin', you touched my life

Soft and warm on a Summer's night

You're the only one, I told you

The only one I love

The lovely one, I'm thinkin' of

Ok, I'll try one more since everyone is begging me so hard, lol

:singer:

Come on mama

Heal this lonesome man

Grow the tree of wholeness

In this desert land

:singer:

I know someone who is the answer to this.... Remember no fair using a search engine, lol

Is it Bob Dylan? :QuestionM That is to say... the lyricist, and not the "answer to this" ;)

Here's a one:

:singer:

" This comes in handy a lot of the time.

I can leave it home, when I think it's gonna get me in trouble,

or I can rent it out, when I don't need it.

But now and then I go to a party, get drunk,

and the next morning I can't for the life of me

remember what I did with it."

:singer:

It was "Wild Mountain Honey" by The Stevie Miller Band from his Fly Like an Eagle LP, I'm listening to it right now, I love vinyl B)

You got me on that one, I had to Google it, it is very funny, of course mine is broken so it doesn't really matter who has it anymore....

Gotta love this song...

:singer:

Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin' Into the future

Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin' Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle To the sea

Fly like an eagle Let my spirit carry me

I want to fly like an eagle Till I'm free

Oh, Lord, through the revolution

Yup :agree: One of the few that you've given that I actually know!

Speaking of listening now...

:phones:

they could float above the grass in circles if they tried—

a latent power I know they hide...

...this town seems hardly worth our time...

and we'll no longer memorize or rhyme...

too far along in our crime.

:phones:

more recognizable...

:phones:

little old lady got mutilated late last night
