Dark matter is stupid. There's no such thing. Expansion is probably some optical illusion or, if it is real, its only happening in our field of view in an infinite universe. I see no reason for the big bang having had happened.

Expansion of the universe: Since there is apparantly direst evidence for this, I think it's safe to counter this (since it can be used as evidence for the universe being finite) by saying that the infinite universe is simply turbulent, and our region is becoming a bit less dense while others are becoming more dense.
