Prokaryotic vs Eukaryotic cell

Vast differences. The prokaryote cell is much simpler, with less structure and no discrete organelles (such as chlorplasts or mitochondria) within the cell.

The principle difference is the absence of a nucleus. Eukaryotes have a nucleus that contains the primary DNA of the cell. In prokaryotes the genetic material is distributed around the cell.

As is often the case, I rather suspect wikipedia would give a good summary.
