PBS, NPR, Discovery, Science Channel, Archeology Channel, and even CBS have science related podcasts in both video and audio. The Archeology Channel blurbs are my favorites so far. They are of excellent quality: http://www.abc.net.au/services/podcasting/subject_Science.htm Also, it is not necessary to have iTunes installed with its tendrils infiltrating far too deeply into the system for my liking (unless your mp3 player is an iPod).
