NadineDennis Posted November 23, 2022 Report Share Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) Hey Vmedvil5, this is one of my all-time favorite animations ever; I still remember watching this with my father when I was 15 years old, and I remember being thrilled when it received an Oscar nomination. This is an absolute masterpiece by DON HERTZFELDT. This animation is the closest thing to my thoughts all the time. The line "I no longer fall in love with rocks" is really heartbreaking. When I browsed the forum, this video eventually caught my attention and took me back to my childhood. I work as a nanny in Dubai and the child I look after was with me when I watched this video. I don't know whether the 3 years old understood the story or not, but she really enjoyed it, especially the small child's voice. She spent a long time mimicking that voice.
