Math question

The question gives the following information:

-A woman wants to place a hot tub 13 feet to the right and 7 feet down from the center of her pool.

-The pool's equation is: x^2+4y^2+6x-8y-87=0

-It also says the hot tub's diameter is 6 feet

It wants to know what the hot tub's equation would be?

I had it broken down into:

x(x+6) + 4y(y-2)=87 but i wasn't sure if this is on track or not.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

the pool's equation is: (x+3)^2+4(y-1)^2 = 100,

which is an ellipse...

i assume the pool is a circle, since its 13 feet to the right and 7 feet down from the center, which is (-3,1), it should center at (10,-6)

the equation would be (x-10)^2 + (y+6)^2 = 36
