Kent
What is your favorite brench of maths or physics. What are some of the equations? problems? proofs? theorms? blah blah...
maddog
This has shifted over the years. For the longest time as I was growing up it wasinterest in Black Holes. As I learned more Physics I came to realize my interestreally was at the fundamental question "What is the Quantum Nature of Gravity ?" So for Physics, it would be unlikely union of GR with QM (QFT) (doesn't work yet)...For Math, it would a whole bunch Differential Geometry/Complex Analysis/AbstractAlgebra (with Spinors & Lie Groups mixed in)...Though I still have passing interest in Astrophysics & Cosmology... :cup: Maddog
Gulielmus
I learn a little about every thing (nothing really in-depth though), my current interest is in string theory. As far as math goes I like math that makes me think and is tough for me, maybe some geometry. I’m not much of a mathematician but I try any way.
