3. A long straight wire carries a heavy current. An electron is travelling parallel to the wire in the opposite direction to the current. The electron experiences a force F when its distance from wire is 1 m. If the electron was travelling in a direction perpendicular to the wire, then the force on it when it is 1m from the wire is____________ Explain.
