Turtle
I just found something so strange . .The philosophers stone? White Powder Gold. Does anyone know if it's true what they say about it? I've heard/read some chemists refer to it and some new-agers. As I understand it, the chemical procedure consists of heating gold above its melting point in a pressure vessel containing argon (I think argon??) and the reaction is to form a precipitate oxide of gold(hope that's the right chemical terminology) . The new-ager procedure is to eat the stuff. :hyper: :hyper:
Queso
Supposedly the hebrews called it their Manna, and it has been treasured by civilizations since "the dawn of time" Is it for real??? It seems to good to be true...
ronthepon
beware... if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Queso
so everyone who's ever believed that this stuff was good for you has deceived?
ronthepon
Could be. If it were real, then we'd probably had been using it. Or seen or known about someone doing so. Now, preparing gold colloid is positively easy, provided you know the procedure. But monoatomic gold is rather far fetched. Single atoms would not be unreactive.
