  1. QUOTE: "i still dont want google spying on me, that is more then they already are, until they release a non-logging version of chrome, i shall not pass" If you are not going to pass, then why are you against it?? :D I think I get the point, but remember INCOGNITO MODE is one click away inside the tools menu. Problem solved.
  2. If the universe is expanding space and time are not constant and we expect our schools of thought to be adaptive to this factor. Atomic time records calender flaws that we expect leap years to fix. This is recognized in the Gregorian Calendar. What I struggle to understand is this: How does one celebrate b-days if they are born on February 29th during a leap year? I'm sure there is a rational explanation I cannot seem to wrap my peanut around right now with all kinds of metaphysical and cultural explanations. I can't wait to hear! ..Perhaps in my edit I might venture to say the topic of Easter will arise in upcoming bravado. I might not be one to check back. :phones:
  3. Fact: 1 in 3 Vista users revert back to XP. Both my wife and I have the same issues with the Vista version of IE. It incorporates problems and needs to shut down thereby restarting me on my famous home page at a loss for what happened. What does this have to do with Google Chrome you ask? The answer "multiprocess architecture." On Chrome if something happens to cause a crash in one tab it only shuts down that tab. This may not bother Firefox or Safari users at all. Welcome to the age of cloud computing. This shifts importance to the "rendering engine." Speed may be Chrome's most significant advance articulating JavaScript 10X faster than those mentioned and 56X faster than IE 7. Did I mention "incognito mode" offers private surfing by a simple tweaking. The only catch is being offered in Windows only. Seems Linux and Mac have something to be jealous over after all. More like an attack on Microsoft. Is the browser becoming the equivalent to an OS? The answer is yes. I forgot to mention you can drag the tab to open a new window completely marking the advent of the cloud. The non-intrusive combo address bar / search engine is the self titled "omnibox" by Google which is the Incredible Hulk of "I'm Feeling Lucky." Mind you this did not merit eliminating the option of importing the sometimes easily clogged "bookmark bar." In closing talk of the Google browser have been like Yeti and UFO sightings for years. Now that it exists it should generate trust as proof the Google books are not being cooked. Remember the browser evolution that left Netscape behind around 1998. Chrome has the power to do the same to IE. Sit back and watch.
  4. My own dad is a recovering alcoholic dry for 23 years now. I am 28 and used to have to attend AA meetings held within the hospital as a family support and involvement technique. I was told I am born an alcoholic. They argue it is genetic predispostion for those it becomes problematic for. I imagine immediate family predominates this so-called mystery gene. Nature versus nurture aside: I advocate responsible consumption as the cure. Even vampires need blood.
  5. Catchy title, huh? Now prepare to be disappointed... Relax, this isn't about Cling Peaches. iDyl is no more than a brand variant of my name, which is, Dylan (also the meaning behind the "d" in djsee4). I am no dj persay, but my middle initial is (you guessed it) "J" for John. Please refrain from draining your bowels on my ideas, as they say in the business; or I will insist on scratching you records! While my vision remains 20/15 (better than perfect) and some of you read c4 like the plastic explosive this chunk of my call sign is merely the first 3 letter of my last name = Seefeldt; of German/Welsch origin. The 4 is my lucky number since my b-day is 4/4/80 and apparently some kind of rubix cube equation to complicate my life. I use it as proof that I am bred to never understand the meaning of my life as I am no mathematician. The answer is Aries by the way. = djsee4. My destiny on Hypography is yet to be understood. I invite you to make sense of it with me on my quest to clarify what I may albeit hopefully nothing of the random off the wall sorts be trying to convey. My aim is to enrich the community despite my unconscious rejection of math if possible. I stumbled upon Hypography in a forum based on the contemplation of INFORMATION[.] I am enthralled to discover I am joining a community rooted deeply in many genres and gladly accept the challenge to dabble in most. I will do my best to not contradict myself unless I plan to do the work for you already. It is with my deepest gratitude I present to you "me" in the process of finding meaning in a major of ICT at Stout Polytechnic. With your much valued threads I plan to steep myself in whom I plan to become maybe by use of polemics if neccessary. I trust in your community the concepts to mold my wet clay of a brain. But keep your hands off my kiln!:phones:
