Imaginary Time - A Rather Engaging Concept

Recommended Posts

The age of the Universe is 13.8 billion years. (post big bang).

Age of 14 billion years can be represented as -
14*10^9 + 0.2 *10^9 I (imaginary).
I = √-1

Time is not absolute and the time > age of the Universe is notional not real because space-time is a composite entity, and time is not a stand-alone entity.

Here I have used an imaginary number to represent 14 billion years which is greater than the age of the Universe.

Is this concept correct ? :out:
