How do you determine the distance to a 4.22 ly star?

How do you determine the distance to a 4.22 ly star?

 

The unit a light year is a measurement of distance but you would to find the distance in another unit need to take the Speed of Light per second in that unit then the second to year conversion then times 4.22 ly.

How do you determine the distance to a 4.22 ly star using the Hubble. The Hubble has a resolution of .1 arcsec.
