If I (A) invite 2 friends (B and C) in any social network to be connections the number of valid connections is :

3P2 + 3P0 i.e. AB, AC, BC, ABC

Generalizing -

nPm + nP0

WHERE

n = Target size of the Network

m = 2 (Restricting interaction of A with one friend at a time)

Is this correct ? . :out:
