Schizophrenia is a case of imagination working against oneself.
Nevertheless, when used positively it can be highly intuitive and productive.
A classic case is that of Sir Isaac Newton who himself suffered from this malady.
Are schizophrenics then, endowed with better than average imagination ?  :beer-fresh:
