Strange Claims About Relativistic Time Split From A Alternative Theories Thread

Recommended Posts

Can you explain the difference between the Lorentz Transforms, which Einstein took from Lorentz, and those same transforms as used by Lorentz himself?  Put another way, can you explain the difference between absolute simultaneity and relative simultaneity, Sluggo?

SR deals with uniform motion in an area free from gravitational effects. Since light speed was discovered to be finite, there can be no universal time, nor absolute simultaneity. Awareness is always historical. If you want practical measurements within significant limits, that is what's done in the real world.

Your mixing SR with GR gets tiresome also.

Heh, Sluggo.  You make a pontifical pronuncement of truth (which is widely, almost universally, disputed), throw in erroneous and disparaging non sequiturs, but, as always, refuse to respond to the question.

Typical.

Every forum visited has at least one arrogant fool, who wants to feel important. Why not put your effort into humanitarian work, like helping the homeless, or some local charity.

True dat!  And, likewise, every forum seems to have some poor chump with an inferiority complex who wants to act like he knows it all and strongly resents anyone who doesn't marvel at the wisdom of his proclamations.  "Haters," they're often called, ya know?
