Tormod
Finally - a music studies forum at Hypography. Some of you may know that I have a Bachelor of Music in performance degree, but for some reason I've never got around to set up a music studies forum. So here goes! We'll use this forum to talk about music theory, music history, genres, instruments, music education and related things. Acoustics as related to music also belongs here. This is not intended as a forum to discuss what kind of music you like - that belongs in the Watercooler forum (although I think we'll have to touch upon that as well in some of the threads). Feel free to comment about things you'd like to talk about in this forum.
freeztar
:hihi:: It looks like a good start already. It would be great to get some of the physics folks into discussions on standing waves within an acoustic space, for example. Or perhaps the math folks would like to ponder the fitting of harmonics to the Golden Mean.
Queso
Can I share my work here?
Tormod
Can I share my work here? Yes please. Maybe we should create a sub forum for it?
Queso
It's up to you, Tormod. I just started making music again after a long period without the means. So I should be posting stuff regularly :] I'll start out with an old classical track I made. You can move the thread to the sub forum whenever it occurs.
