  1. Thanks to all for helping. I got lot of information, now I am going to experiment with small load and will feed back if I got some thing positive. Regards,
  2. I am not assuming . Unless corrected by a suitable capacitor , power factor of all inductive loads remain approximately 0.65 to 0.7 which can be corrected to 0.95 or more by power factor correction, inturn to reduce bills by that much proportion. I wish to build my own , but thanks for giving link , I will definately check it. Thanking you, Regards.
  3. Thanks for responding, I am planning to put power factor correction capacitor in parallel to mains supply line. I need calculations for capacitor value for entire load. Will a common capacitor will be enough or separate cap for different loads is required? What will be advers effect if capacitor is over corrected? Regards,
  4. I wish to build energy saving unit for domestic purpose using capaciotrs. Can anybody help giving resourses for circuit diagrams , calculations ?.
  5. Thanks Michael, Yes, I am interested in nonconventional energy experiments, like solar heating, Biogas generation, Pico Hydro power plants etc. Regards,
  6. I am happy to join this forrum for sharing ideas and learning science through experiments . Regards,
