i had a big eye opener about religion after reading the book WORLD IN COLLISION by Immanuel Velikovsky. It can explain a lot about early believes. Also his other book LES GRANDS BOULVERSEMENTS TERRESTRE. I know he is a very controversial author but his idea makes lots of sense. did you know that when einstein passed away he had Velikovsky's book open on his desk.
